This is one of the most unusual Corvettes in existence. It is half Corvette and half Cadillac Eldorado, hence the name Eldorette. A well known car builder, Mickey Vaughn of Chattanooga, Tennessee, built the automobile. It contains many aspects of a Corvette and an Eldorado. It has the original Corvette L-82 chassis with the 350ci 210hp V-8 and an automatic transmission. The turn signal lights have the Cadillac emblem around them. It also has the Cadillac vinyl top. The headlights are from a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass, the taillights are from a Chevrolet Chevette, the rear bumper is from a Ford Granada and the rear spoiler is from a Ford. The grill and front spoiler are hand laid fiberglass. Originally finished in White with Red velour interior and was re-painted in 2003 in Ford Mustang Firestorm Red and the Vinyl top was changed to Napa Red. It has a very unique fiberglass body and is not a kit-car. It is a one-off creation. Over $200,000 was spent in time and materials creating the molds and assembly of the automobile. All numbers match and it has just 60,214 original miles.
